Having worked for Jersey Telecoms I am fully conversant with European primary rate ISDN (also known as E1's). Coming to Canada I quicky picked up the differences between that and the T1 PRIs that are used in North America.

Some of the terminology may be different (DDI vs DID, CLID vs ANI, cyclic hunting vs circular hunting) but the concepts are pretty similar.

I've used both E1 and T1 services in IVR applications that I have developed and/or worked on.
