MED is a fully featured programmer's editor that has some great features. It does colour syntax highlighting and has a project concept that allows files to be grouped together and easily navigated.

I was introduced to MED by a colleague at Chromatic Software in 2002 and rapidly became a fan. It became the editor of choice in the IVR team, replacing the previously used MultiEdit.
